The USA is led by europe following the opening day of the inaugural The Match sports competition in Minsk, Belarus.
Britain’s Daryll Neita made a nice run to win the women’s 100m within 11.29 moments, but the US finished first, second and third in the men’s event.
Alexandra Bell, another British athlete, won the 800m but Jake Wightman of the women lost out in a sprint finish.
The two-day event finishes on Tuesday.

Belarus’ Maksim Nedasekau won the high jump by clearing 2.35m, a planet cause 2019, while USA won the final race of the day – that the men’s 4x100m relay – at a period of 38.26 minutes.
The quartet consisted of Demek Kemp, Mike Rodgers, Isiah Young and Chris Belcher, although Belcher, who ran the last leg apologised for slowing down and celebrating until the end of the race.
He wrote on Twitter:”Only need to choose the opportunity to apologize to USA Track and Field, the training staff, and my USA teammates for showboating.
“That’s not my way of running and that I know I destroyed a chance for us to have a high time on the planet for the 4×100. I’m really sorry and will never do it again.”
You get nine points for every occasion achievement and a guide is held by Europe .
There’ll be yet another 19 contests on Tuesday, with the last one being a mixed 4x400m relay, using every quartet comprising 2 girls and two men.
