Dejan Lovren not happy at Liverpool despite relief at end of transfer saga

Dejan Lovren says he is not happy sitting on the Liverpool bench but is alleviated his unsuccessful transfer saga is over for today.
The Croatia centre-half has verified that he wished to leave Anfield during the summer after falling from Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez at Jurgen Klopp’s final order.
Clubs such as AC Milan but Liverpool and Roma targeted lovren and Klopp insisted they desired to stay.
“I believe relief that the transfer window is closed. I got tired of listening and reading every day about me leaving or staying from Liverpool,” Lovren told Ms newspaper Sportske Novotsti.
“Everybody composed’Dejan is here, Dejan is that there’, and knew nothing. It disturbs me. (But) yes, I’d consider moving. It didn’t occur, I had been told Liverpool needs me and I accepted that, although I wanted to leave.
“I am not the kind of player that likes to be benched and make money. Some people around me advised me’what exactly do you care? You’re in a large club, closed up, have the money’ – however I’m happy about the bench.
“I’m really happy because all the time that I felt LFC was me. I respect a lot. Klopp explained’listen, friend, you are a participant. We won’t let you go on loan. We need you’.
