Leeds bound to attract investment interest, says Andrea Radrizzani

Leeds proprietor Andrea Radrizzani has moved to clarify comments he made about significant new investment .
The Italian businessman revealed at a recent interview which he was approachedwith more than 20 parties, and that three of them were of specific interest.
In reaction to this article Radrizzani has recently issued a further statement, claiming he isnt actively looking for investment at this moment.
Because of the job we have done in the last a couple of decades, we have attracted a great deal of attention, explained Radrizzani, who will be greatly involved with the clubs centenary celebrations on Thursday.
Clearly the club has modernised on a lot of levels, which will be shown by our revenues, which have increased a lot to near #50m.
Our presence is the cover of the team, the club has modernised social media (department), weve got partnerships with Amazon, Wish and Deliveroo – big corporate companies are beginning to utilize Leeds and before my coming, this was impossible even to believe.
We need to be pleased with the club along with the fact were appealing to potential investors. If and when well open discussions is another story.
It depends on the ideal moment, a moment where I think we need assistance to construct the club bigger than what we can do together with our own assets .
Radrizzani, 45, stated in his interview which the three potential investors that he had been considering were Qatar Sports Investments and two unnamed parties – abig fan of Leeds located in the united states along with an Italian club proprietor.
QSI, which regulates Paris Saint-Germain, is run by Radrizzanis buddy Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who has worked with the media and sports tycoon on football TV rights agreements.
Radrizzani, who purchased Leeds at December 2016 from fellow Massimo Cellino, marketed a 10 percent stake in the club in May 2018, the financial arm of NFL franchise that the San Francisco 49ers, 49ers Enterprises.
Leeds, that are one of the advertising favourites in the Sky Bet Championship this season under manager Marcelo Bielsa, are fifth in the table, two points behind leaders West Brom.
Radrizzani will start Leeds celebrations on Thursday afternoon by unveiling a plaque in Chapel, in which the club had been set in 1919, after a support.
A reception in the honour of the club will be kept in the afternoon, followed by a town centre street series attended by the clubs men and womens first-team squads and a jungle of Legends gala dinner at night.
