Andy Walker backs Rangers to push Celtic all the way in title race

Top-of-the-league Rangershave every chance of finish Celtics eight-year reign of dominance at the Scottish Premiership this year, based on former Hoops striker Andy Walker.
Celtic fell behind their Glasgow rivals after Sundays 2-0 defeat together with Rangers this weekend in the league table.
Rangers are in fine form since losing to Celtic at Ibrox, winning half of their last seven games, and Walker believes – despite the winnersmonetary edge – that the Gers will take the title race to the cable.
I think this is going to be a terrific season, Walker told Sky Sports News.
I believe you need to respect Rangers and the way they have responded. Aside from this [Europa League] overcome against Young Boys, their answer was terrific.
I really dont think we are going to see several factors given up by Celtic and Rangers. Admittedly, Celtic have followed a draw with a beat. I think that theyre going to prove to be really debilitating in their pursuit for the title.
In case Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe steer away from injury I think Rangers have each chance [of winning the title]. I think to front from middle theyre creating opportunities. Connor Goldson is currently looking strong at the back but he is also popping up with a goal or 2.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard cautioned his players not to gettaken away following Sundays win as they push for their very first Scottish Premiership title since 2011.
Gerrards right to downplay talk of a name race, added Walker.
