Andy Walker backs Rangers to push Celtic all the way in title race

Top-of-the-league Rangershave every chance of finish Celtics eight-year reign of dominance at the Scottish Premiership this year, based on former Hoops striker Andy Walker.
Celtic fell behind their Glasgow rivals after Sundays 2-0 defeat together with Rangers this weekend in the league table.
Rangers are in fine form since losing to Celtic at Ibrox, winning half of their last seven games, and Walker believes – despite the winnersmonetary edge – that the Gers will take the title race to the cable.
I think this is going to be a terrific season, Walker told Sky Sports News.
I believe you need to respect Rangers and the way they have responded. Aside from this [Europa League] overcome against Young Boys, their answer was terrific.
I really dont think we are going to see several factors given up by Celtic and Rangers. Admittedly, Celtic have followed a draw with a beat. I think that theyre going to prove to be really debilitating in their pursuit for the title.
In case Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe steer away from injury I think Rangers have each chance [of winning the title]. I think to front from middle theyre creating opportunities. Connor Goldson is currently looking strong at the back but he is also popping up with a goal or 2.
The answer because losing to Celtic was absolutely first class. And, make no doubtthe title race is still moving into the end of the year
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard cautioned his players not to gettaken away following Sundays win as they push for their very first Scottish Premiership title since 2011.
Gerrards right to downplay talk of a name race, added Walker.
But the lovers are speaking about it each day – not mind every week – because theyre not able to see their group cease Celtic get their ancestral [name in a row].
Celtic have the benefit in a fiscal sense. Arguably, they have a stronger squad.
Its maybe a bit surprising that Neil Lennon has not utilised that squad a bit more because he has tove known that Livingston wouldve made it a fight – and the players werent prepared for this.
it is a real boost for Steven Gerrard to observe the way his players have reacted since that defeat Celtic at Ibrox.
