Ole Miss was a perfect 4-0 in last season yet delivered a record in SEC playwith. The Rebels will be looking to improve in their current background, having won six or fewer games within the past few decades, and hoping to bolster past season’s defense that surrendered an average of 36.2 points per match.
Their offense was the only bright spot, averaging 33.9 points and over 510 total yards per game but that should be taken in context, as they racked up a whopping 76 and 70 points from lightly considered Southern Illinois and UL Monroe, respectively.
Memphis has been a football program under head coach Mike Norvell’s view . The Tigers had a high-octane crime in 2018, averaging 42.9 points per game that ranked them seventh in all of D-1 soccer.
Fortunately for Tigers’ fans, Memphis will see that the return of quarterback Brady White, who passed 3296 yards and 26 touchdowns with nine picks over the year. Moreover, White will visit three of four of his top goals back in uniform, such as No. 1 receiver Damonte Coxie.
From the backfield, last season’s starting tailback, Darrell Henderson, was plucked from the Rams in the next round of April’s NFL draft, but his first copy Patrick Taylor Jr. will assume the starting role after dividing the plane of the end zone on 18 occasions, two of which were receiving touchdowns, at 2018.
Although the Tigers’ defense wasn’t as impressive as its offense, they will be returning eight starters and aspire to improve upon their own 31.5 PPG average.
